solongrubytuesday

fyi incase you didnt already know...the Keyclub in Hollywood is free on tuesday nights. Spin Magazine puts on their Ruby Tuesday shows to showcase new music/bands all for free. Every tuesday. Every month. I think forever!

So, this past tuesday instead of staying in my house I was convinced that I should not stay in to write a 5 page essay on reforming the No Child Left Behind Policy that was due the next morning [yay! for politcal science classes!]. So i went. I delayed writing my paper on education reform to stay out late and party...sorta. That dosent seem right does it?

...totally.

A couple different bands played. And when i say "different" I mean DIFFERENT. The first or i guess second band that played [im pretty sure we missed the very first band, accourding to a headless mannequin passing out flyers outside. mmmhhhhmmm, i told ya it was different] had a lead singer who had a really cute dress that looked like a strecthed out tank top...okay so im not that good at describing it. whatever! it was cute and it had a tiger on it!
anyways, they didnt sound too bad but the singer was really intense and kinda creeped us out with her "the Ring" dance moves and mumbly sound effect vocals. But the band that was on after them "Django James" and the somthings ???? im not totaly sure about their name, and i thought they were not so great. Am i being too harsh? Heres the thing, theres always a thing...I can appreciate all forms of music and their makers but if you are in charge you have to know when to call it right? I mean you cant kid yourself for too long. And you know its bad when you, yourself are struggling to dance to your own music. I'm just saying.

I was really there to see the Hanks. They had an alright show!
Click here because all henrys are hanks yep.
