First things first, I know it looks as though I’ve been slacking lately but I’m not. I promise. Its summer time and I’ve been uber busy; a ton of stuff has been going on. Mostly good stuff so don’t worry!
Here ill show ya...

1. Mishmash Magazine has been re-launched and re-vamped. It’s looking better than ever and is filled with tons of awesomeness. Check it out here
crap loads of good stuff on there [jess has been telling everyone, so if this is old news to you already go ahead and skip to the next section] I can not express in words really how relieving it is to have finally re-launched. If Mishmash Mag was a fat kid, he'd be eating a huge cake right about now. Get with it and sit with the cool kids over at the mishmashmag table!

2. Let’s see...Ahah! I went out to the Make Music Pasadena to soak up the sun and listen to some fine tuneage. This was a show that sparked my curiosity as it was the first show for the ravonettes with their new singer [no more Sharon, now its Sharon’s lil sis] they did surprisingly good. When I first heard of the line up change from a friend I was a tad bit bewildered. I also saw kinky again...such a rad band! Viva la kinky!


Autolux and the little ones played an astounding set as well. Yay for Pasadena!

3. I don’t remember if I told ya bout this already...
went to see my good friends the vacation when they played the viper room

4. Let’s see...oh! me and Brigitte went to the H.O.B. in Anaheim to see [her fav] spill canvas along with steel train and ludo. She sang along to all the songs while I shot for mishmashmag.


this was also the first shoot I had with my new lens...this new one is bigger than my old one and quite a bit more heavy so my hand/arm was in agony. But after awhile we found wall-e!


5. Semi precious weapons...a pretty kickin band out of NYC. Caught them at the viper room in a hot, sweaty, rowdy, shirtless party...



Craziness.

6. Went to SSMF [or sunset strip music festival] with Joe from mishmash and saw just about everyone...pretty much. Like:
André legacy
Mickey Avalon
Juliette and the licks
Hot hot heat
L.A. Guns
etc.

7.Hung out with the guys from opiate for the masses for almost the whole day along with Jim’s lovely dogs

8.Went to the supergrass/morning benders show at the Avalon...it was ALRIGHT!!!!!

9.Then I went to the Fonda for the English beat, the fixx and the alarm! New wave night here


10.And then I went to one of the best dance parties of all time...

Lots of skating, snowboarding, sand and Donnas.
